Almost two years:

I was looking at our bridals, and I couldn't help posting a few of them to showcase my beautiful wife—I love you, babe.

Summer '08

Wow! K so I'm not very good about this blog thing. It's been over 6 months since I've updated it but to me I guess it's pretty hard to do this when you don't have cute, little kids to blog about. Well I can semi catch you all up on what's been going on considering I do have the time just not the patience to do this sort of thing. Well recently I've been doing a TON of traveling!! Basically I've been travelling back and forth to see Brady all summer long. The first part of the summer we were in Detroit, Mi, which was a "far from great" experience. We ended up transferring to Dallas, TX, which has been somewhat better. It's a really hard job to do summer sales. Brady has done it for so long that it is wearing on him. I'm excited for the summer to be over and be done. I really can't wait for Brady to be done with school (one more semester to go) and be on with what he really wants to do..Study Law. Well that's a little ways away so for now we're just taking one day at a time. It's been hard this summer because we haven't been able to see family at all! But at the end of the summer we're planning a big road trip back home. We're planning on hitting AZ, Cali for a few days, Vegas and up to St. George. Then we'll be back home. I can't wait to be back in our little home together. It will be so nice. Other than that not much else has been going on. When we were in Detroit, we got to go to Cedar Point with some friends, which is in Sandusky, OH and it was sooo fun! Craziest roller coasters ever. Brady loved it!! Hopefully I'll get better about updating the blog..bear with me. I hope everyone's summer isn't as stressful as mine!

Holidays w/ Brady's Family & New Year's in SLC!

Just got back from Vegas visiting Brady's Dad's side of the family... nothing like shopping at the Fashion Show Mall after Christmas; tons of sales, people, and just plain madness!

The Honeymoon

Like any fairytale of mine... there is a beach, lots of sun, and a big boat!!! We spent our first big trip together in the Southern Caribbean. We boarded our cruise ship, "The Adventure of the Seas," on August 19, 2007. We ported from Puerto Rico, which was amazing, and cruised to Aruba. Although we would later realize that Aruba was our least favorite, it was fun to see the sites, especially the downtown scene. Next stop was Curacao; my personal favorite. The beaches were amazing and the water was crystal clear. We went on a semi-submarine excursion and saw a lot of beautiful fish. Then, we arrived in St. Maarten which was such a cool place. We went scuba diving which was a huge fear of mine! The beaches in St. Maarten were absolutely incredible. The whitest sands and the bluest oceans; no lie. See...
Finally, we ported in St. Thomas and Brady tried to barter with some of the locals for a purse for me but these people didn't budge. It was almost more fun seeing him argue with the natives about a purse than lying on the beach (for me at least, Brady loves to sun-bathe). Against our wishes, our cruise ended, and we sailed back to Puerto Rico and stayed in a hotel on the beach for one night; what a honeymoon!!! Finally, we arrived back home and we were all ready moved into our condo in Pleasant Grove. Brady would be starting up school at BYU and I would be going back to work at my salon. I wish we could have been on our cruise forever, but like any fairytale, there has to be a "happily ever after"... back to the real world.
